1. Communication - This is the key to success.

Many of our clients tell us that they won’t smile on photographs, feel self conscious or don’t have quite as much confidence as they could have.

Some people want a brighter, whiter smile. Some want straight teeth. Some have gaps, others have crowding. Some are too gummy and others with worn teeth look like they have no teeth at all!

That’s fine. We understand and listen, because we know that no two people are alike and you want the best solution that is right for you. We do not have a one-size-fits-all approach because you deserve better. We can enhance your smile to ensure a confident, natural look (that’s our area of expertise) or provide you with a Hollywood smile (popular with those in the media).

It is entirely your choice and we will happily help you decide what’s right for you. 2. Diagnosis and Planning

We don’t set off on a journey unless we know where we are going. And of course, we want to know which steps we need to take in order to get there, so we undertake a thorough examination to ensure you get the best care.

You get state-of-the-art diagnostic benefits of digital x-rays and the educational advantages of seeing for yourself what is happening in your mouth with our intraoral camera.

This is where we formulate a treatment plan with every aspect detailed and itemised so that you can proceed with certainty, confident in the knowledge that everything is taken care of. Ask as many questions as you like because it is you who needs to know the benefits.

3. Wax Phase

We build a mock-up of your new smile in wax before we begin. The good news is that all this takes place in a laboratory. The technician carefully follows the prescription written out by your dentist to ensure three things – appearance, function and longevity. Your new smile not only will look great, but it also needs to feel comfortable and last a very long time. This is actually where the hard work happens - while you are elsewhere enjoying yourself!

4. Prototype phase

Next, we treat your teeth with exacting precision using custom made preparation guides. This ensures the least amount of reduction to save the most amount of dentine and enamel - just enough to get the best results. Then, your prototypes are fitted. This is where you get to see how your new smile really looks when you see yourself in the mirror. This is sometimes quite an emotional moment, so be prepared to feel fantastic! You might think that they look perfect. You might think that they need a slight adjustment, e.g., a bit longer, shorter, rounder, squarer, further out, further in, whatever. That’s fine. The prototypes are adjusted until you are perfectly happy that you look great. You have the opportunity to say there and then that you want to go straight to fitting your permanent ceramics. Or you may want to wait for a few days, weeks or even months to make sure that you are completely happy before you proceed. You might want the opinion of friends, family or partner. That’s fine. It’s your smile, your life. No pressure, ever.

5. Finishing Phase

This is where we remove the prototypes and fit you with the finished result. The new you! Take a look at how far we have come. We also teach you how to look after your new smile and give you our special guarantee.
